A Special Meeting of the Council of the Rural Municipality of Daly was held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office at Rivers, Manitoba on Tuesday, April 26th, 2011.

Members Present:
Reeve: Evan Smith;
Councillors: Dave Falkevitch; Ian Dyer; Rod Veitch; Sam Wurtz; Larry Fast;
CAO Lorne Green
Absent: Councillor Shane McLeod

1. CALL TO ORDER

Reeve Smith called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm.


2. ADOPTION OF AGENDA

RESOLUTION NO. 11-066
Falkevitch - Wurtz
Be It Resolved That the Agenda for the meeting be adopted.
CARRIED

3. FLOOD DISCUSSION

RESOLUTION NO. 11-067
Wurtz - Dyer
Be It Resolved That Council authorize the CAO to negotiate a contract with Q-Collaborations to process Disaster Financial Assistance claims for 2011 flooding.

5. BYLAW 2011-01 – 1st READING

RESOLUTION NO. 11-068

Be It Resolved That By-Law 2011-01 being a by-law to impose taxes for the year 2011, be read a first time.

Be It Resolved that the meeting be adjourned at 10:00 pm.
